Getting to Foxfield from the Airport

Airport pickup is available from Burbank Airport only for an additional fee. Campers should arrive between 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm on the Sunday that their session begins. They should plan to depart between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on the Saturday after their session ends. Foxfield does not offer airport service from LAX. For service from LAX, Foxfield recommends Street Scene Limousine Service at 800-610-2673.

Visiting Campers

Foxfield asks that parents not visit their children during camp or take them out for meals. This makes it hard on some of the other campers who may be homesick. If your child is at Foxfield for more than one session in a row, visits can be arranged. Parents who need to stay at a local hotel when they pick up or drop off their campers can stay at the Westlake Village Inn (818-889-0230) or the Hyatt Westlake Plaza (805-497-9991) among others.

Horse Arrangments

Foxfield maintains a large group of school horses for every level or rider. Riding groups are assigned according to the camper’s ability, which is assessed during the first evening of camp. Riders may be reassigned during camp (either up or down) only if a change is warranted in the opinion of the Foxfield staff. No change will be made unless Foxfield’s management determines that such a change would be in the best interest of the camper. Please note that our primary concern is for the safety and well-being of all the campers.

Phone Calls

Please…no phone calls during camp. Cell phones are also not allowed at camp. In case of emergency, parents may phone during the following hours:

8:00 am – 9:00 am
12:00 noon – 2:00 pm
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Calls will be taken at this time only. Please limit calls to three minutes.
