Facilities
Living Quarters
Campers at Foxfield live in one of the camp’s five dormitory-style cabins. Each is named for a different breed of pony – Shetland, Connemara, Welsh, Hackney and Polo Ponies. Campers are divided by age; the youngest girls stay in Shetland and the oldest stay in Polo Ponies. Each sleeps six campers and one counselor – except for Polo Ponies, which can accommodate up to ten. All cabins are equipped with bunk beds and dressers, along with a full bath.
Horses
Foxfield maintains a large group of school horses for every level of rider. For campers wishing to bring their own horses, Foxfield offers a limited number of portable stalls.
Counselors
Foxfield’s counselors are all experienced horse people and love working with kids. A few of them have ridden at Foxfield for many years; some are previous campers, and all share a deep love of horses and riding.
Other Amenities
Other amenities include a swimming pool, a large dining hall, a People-Jumping area, and a well-supplied tack room. There are three arenas–two of them lighted–and two cross-country fields.
